Who we are

Based in Sydney, Australia, Starboard IT started as a conversation on how we could offer better, more personalised IT services. Starboard IT was founded by a team of IT professionals who realized that businesses deserved a quality IT experience without having to break the bank. Each have over 15 years’ experience in the implementation, support and security of IT network and server infrastructure, virtualisation and cloud technologies. We have worked in a multitude of areas on the business spectrum, so we understand the importance of providing outcome-focused services and solutions that work for your business.

Running a business ourselves we recognise the importance of combining the work-hard mindset and delivering outcomes with the human touch often not available with larger companies with bigger budgets.

With over 25 years of experience in technology related industries, 15 years of that being in the ICT industry, Steve has focused his career on IT Infrastructure, in particular, the delivery of infrastructure related projects, IT Risk and Security, and IT operations.

Richard is an experienced Project and Service Delivery Manager with 15+ years’ experience in the scoping, design, implementation and support of high availability production and disaster recovery environments across financial, insurance, energy, transport, government and healthcare sectors.
